★ Neem Comb -

1. The feel of wood on your scalp is amazing. It sort of gives you a mini scalp massage when you use it. This helps to increase the blood flow to the scalp – bringing lovely nutrients to the hair roots.

2. Plastic and metal brushes are rough on the scalp. Wooden combs are soft and polished. They have a much softer feel than plastic or metal combs. If you have a sensitive scalp, wooden combs can prevent bruising or scraping your scalp.

3. Dandruff is generally the effect of a dry and dehydrated scalp and trust me! the plastic comb you are using just maximises that dryness. It leads to flakiness that ultimately snatches your sleep. Using wooden comb won’t just prevent your scalp from over-drying but will also evenly distribute the oils all over the scalp and make it nourished.

4. Wooden comb prevents moisture from oozing out of the hair follicles and thus, in turn locking the conditioning level within. This is an excellent property for which many beauty experts are now recommending wooden combs over normal plastic ones.

5. Wooden comb gives shiny and bouncy hair due to the presence of natural oils in them. They retain the moisture of hair and help them being all full of life.

6. Vetiver or Khus has also been highly recommended by Ayurveda for its potent skin-regenerating, anti-inflammatory, healing and muscle-relaxant properties.

1. Rose water is widely used as a skin toner which can get you fresh, even-toned and bright skin forever. It is paired with sandalwood powder frequently to get a mesmerizing glow!

★ Homemade Natural Eyeliner -

Ancient Indian women used Kajal (homemade natural eyeliner). It was made from castor oil, coconut oil, almond oil and black mustard seeds. This made your eyes brighter/whiter, it improved vision and stimulates the growth of eye lashes

The natural made Kohl prepared from charcoal does not have the harmful chemicals as silver nitrate. This is really harmful as it increases irritation and even gives rise to viewing hazards.

Many people have experienced burning sensation after using the chemical rich products available in the market. Since it contains lead, it will increase redness to your eyes.
